Stanley
Design puts our client in the driver's seat. With our professional experience
and knowledge of cost and materials, we can make recommendations that fit
a client's budget as well as his or her dreams.
Clients will first meet with Carolyn to discuss any ideas or thoughts they
might have about the house they want. Lots of people have clipped photos
and articles for years and have a loose collection of features they'd like,
but they don't know how to bring it all together. We take those clippings,
listen to the client's thoughts, walk through our showroom and look at materials
and choices. With the information we gather, we come up with a rough sketch
and preliminary price range. From there, our designers refine the sketch
and with feedback from the client and create blueprints and CAD drawings
from which the house will be built.
Most people can't read a blueprint too easily, so we present our designs
to our customers in ways that mean something to them: detail shots, interior
and exterior views, and photo-realistic renderings created by our computer
software.
Bringing design services in-house allows Stanley Builders to turn on a dime
when customers request changes. We want to make sure we do everything we
can to help our customers build their dream homes.
Almost every house we build is one-of-a-kind, created by listening to the
client's wants and wishes. We often are asked to quote a price by the square
foot, but that's not how we sell homes. Stone weighs more than vinyl siding,
ceramic tile weighs more than floor covering, so we charge by the pound,
not the foot!
