In addition to residental construction, we also handle light commercial work, including churches, offices, warehouses, retail businesses, and even a veterinary hospital and the Odessa Fire Company Sub Station at Boyd's Corner, a well-known Delaware landmark.
When working with Stanley Builders, you work directly with Bruce and Carolyn. Bruce spends his time in the field, overseeing every job we take on. He's notorious for insisting that things are done right! Carolyn handles all new accounts and works in conjunction with designers and office staff to coordinate the construction of every building. This division of responsibility allows us to respond to client requests.
Both Bruce and Carolyn have been active with the Home Builders Association of Delaware (HBADE) since 1973. Bruce served as its president in 1989–90 and has long been a member of its Board of Directors. He also served as a representative to the National Home Builders Association. Carolyn chaired the Delaware Home Show, an event presented by HBADE, in 1999 and 2000, and is a past president of the Home Owner Warranty Council of Delaware.
In 2001, HBADE honored Stanley Builders as "Builder of the Year." The designation was a remarkable way to celebrate our 30 years in the home-building business.
